Texas Reading Club: Catch the Reading Express!
Summer Reading Club runs from June 1st through the end of August. You read books to earn prizes. Summer Reading is open to all ages through high school. Check out the Summer Reading Club video on YouTube!
We will also have special reading programs each Tuesday during the summer at 10:30 a.m. for pre-schoolers and at 1:00 p.m.for school-aged kids. Come join us!
Join us each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.throughout the year for stories and learning activities for toddlers to age 5. All programs incorporate early literacy skills that will help your child develop a love of reading, be more successful in school, and become a lifelong learner. Please plan to stay and participate in the preschool programs with your child.
The Library's Internet Policy for Children
We have 2 computers in the children's area with many learning games installed on them. Children may also use the workstations with Internet access if a parent or guardian has come into the library and signed an Internet safety contract for the child. This applies to any young person under the age of 17.
